On the evening of April 13, 2026, a physical altercation on Thelma Street in Raleigh, North Carolina, escalated into a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 27-year-old Terrance Quarles. Raleigh police officers responded to a call at approximately 5:39 p.m. and discovered Quarles with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
