Ty’Ron Kuria, a 17-year-old male from Wylie, Texas, was killed on the evening of April 16, 2026, after gunfire broke out near Dodd Park. Police responded shortly after 6 p.m. to reports of shots fired in the area. Witnesses told investigators they heard several gunshots and then saw several males running away in different directions.
