On a quiet Saturday, April 18, 2026, the small community of Skidmore, Missouri, was shaken by a grim discovery that would soon unfold into a double homicide investigation. At a residence near the intersection of MO Highway 46 and Route PP, north of the town, authorities found two women deceased from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. One of the victims was identified as Karen M. Babcock, a 58-year-old female from Skidmore. The other victim was 32-year-old Liberty A. Moore of Maryville, Missouri ...
