Jayla Elkins, a 3-year-old girl from Shreveport, Louisiana, was one of eight children killed on April 19, 2026, in a domestic violence mass shooting that devastated the Cedar Grove neighborhood. Authorities identified the children as siblings and one cousin, with Jayla among the youngest victims.
