In the early evening of April 20, 2026, the life of 18-year-old Ty'Jeon McFarland of Florence, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. The young man, known to friends and family as "Ty," was fatally shot in Darlington, South Carolina, near a restaurant on Pearl Street at approximately 6:00 p.m. Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
