On a Tuesday in Dawsonville, Georgia, the life of 38-year-old Justin Thompson was cut short. On March 24, 2026, deputies from the Dawson County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting incident in the vicinity of Highway 136, just west of Keith Evans Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered Thompson had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
