Dustin Hicks, a 14-year-old boy from Dawsonville, Georgia, tragically died on November 5, 2015. Dustin, who was white, had autism and Crohn's disease. His death was the result of a gunshot wound in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. His mother, Nina Hicks, aged 53, was found to have shot Dustin before turning the gun on herself.
