In the early morning hours of Saturday, March 28, 2026, the life of 37-year-old Shameka Miller of Arlington, Texas, was cut short in a harrowing sequence of events that unfolded on a Beaumont highway. Miller, a traveling nurse, had been staying at the Baymont Inn on Interstate 10.
