In the spring of 2026, on March 31st, the life of 65-year-old Bobseus Williams was tragically cut short in Dayton, Ohio. Responding to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of Catalpa Drive, Dayton Police discovered Williams suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper torso. He was swiftly transported to Miami Valley Hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation into the death of Bobseus Williams led to the indictment of four individuals.
Three men, Robert Ransby Jr., 54, Dominick Ray, 41, and Michael Carter, 42, are facing serious charges including four counts of murder, two counts of aggravated burglary, and two counts of felonious assault. Ray faces an additional charge of having weapons under disability.
A fourth person, Sierra Mitchell, was also implicated in the case. A Grand Jury indicted her on two counts of obstructing justice. Court records indicate that she is accused of providing shelter to one of the suspects involved in the homicide investigation.
All four individuals have been booked into the Montgomery County Jail. Court appearances for Carter, Ransby, and Ray were scheduled for April of 2026. The Dayton Police Department's Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Williams' death.
