On the late evening of Saturday, April 4, 2026, Tremayne Trell Montgomery, a 40-year-old man, was fatally shot outside of Fremos, a tavern located near Fond du Lac and Hampton in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The incident began with a physical altercation inside the bar's restroom between Montgomery and another man, later identified as 50-year-old Montrel Calhoun. Patrons and security intervened, moving both men to the exterior of the establishment.
