In the quiet neighborhood of Northwoods in St. Louis County, Missouri, the life of 35-year-old DeAra Banks was tragically cut short on the evening of April 5, 2026. Responding to a call for a shooting at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the 6900 block of Pine Ridge Drive, officers from the Northwoods Police Department discovered Banks suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.
