In the spring of 2026, the life of 22-year-old Cardal Wyche III was tragically cut short on a Friday night in Dania Beach, Florida. On the evening of April 10th, in the 800 block of Northwest Second Street, an altercation involving several individuals escalated, resulting in Wyche being shot. The incident occurred at approximately 9:14 p.m., shattering the night's calm.
First responders from the Broward Sheriff's Office and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue arrived at the scene to find Wyche
with a serious gunshot wound. Paramedics quickly transported him to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, Cardal Wyche III succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 9:44 p.m.
The Broward Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit has opened an investigation into the shooting.
