In the quiet evening of Saturday, February 28, 2026, a burst of violence shattered the peace in a North Lauderdale neighborhood, claiming the life of 26-year-old Isaiah Coney. The young man, a resident of North Lauderdale, was found with a gunshot wound in the 6500 block of Harbour Road shortly before 7:30 p.m. Emergency services, including Broward Sheriff's Office deputies and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue, responded to the scene.
