In the spring of 2011, a local Buffalo community was shaken by the violent death of Ali Hababi, a well-regarded male deli owner. On a Friday evening in early May, tragedy struck at the Union Supermarket, a corner store situated at Masten and Riley Avenues on the city's East Side.
