On the morning of Tuesday, February 10, 2026, the life of 28-year-old Daivan Floyd was tragically cut short in a shooting that occurred in a residence on Nash Street in Akron, Ohio. Around 10:30 a.m., Akron police and emergency services were dispatched to the 500 block of Nash Street following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Daivan Floyd inside the home, lying on the living room floor with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:47 a.m.
