In the early hours of Sunday, February 15, 2026, the quiet of an Adelanto neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 12:24 a.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Station were dispatched to the 11200 block of Auburn Avenue, near the Ridgeview Apartments, following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered the body of Dajon Session, a 26-year-old resident of Adelanto.
