On the night of May 19, 2012, 24-year-old African American male Justin G. Miller was shot on Kilhoffer Street near East Ferry in Buffalo, New York. He sustained a gunshot wound to the lower body, which severed an artery. Despite emergency medical intervention, Justin G. Miller succumbed to his injuries on the morning of May 20, 2012. His death marked the 14th homicide in Buffalo that year.
