In the early evening of January 25, 2026, the life of 21-year-old David Green was tragically cut short in Akron, Ohio. First responders were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 400 block of Sherman Street around 6:50 p.m. following reports of a shooting. There, in the stairwell of the building, they discovered Green with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office later identified the victim as David Green of Akron.
