On a winter evening in San Pablo, California, the sound of gunfire shattered the night on December 29, 2025, leaving a 36-year-old man dead and another critically wounded. The deceased was later identified as Clarence Hughes Jr., a resident of the neighboring city of Richmond. Social media posts following the incident also referred to him by the nickname "Lil Goo."
