In the city of Lawrence, Massachusetts, a wellness check on the evening of January 3, 2026, led to the tragic discovery of 30-year-old Euridiana Ramirez Sanz, who had been fatally shot. Authorities arrived at an apartment on Essex Street at approximately 9 p.m. to find Ms. Ramirez Sanz deceased alongside Edgar Joel Torres, 32. Both individuals had sustained gunshot wounds in what investigators believe to be a murder-suicide.
