In the early morning hours of a cold November day in Buffalo, New York, a grim discovery was made that would leave a family shattered and a community searching for answers. On November 25, 2013, emergency responders were called to Swinburne Street to extinguish a vehicle fire. Inside the burning 2004 Pontiac, they found the body of 30-year-old Desirae James.
