On the evening of Sunday, November 30, 2025, 18-year-old Oliver Sims was killed in a shooting in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 5:05 p.m. in the 4100 block of South Wabash Avenue, amidst a violent Thanksgiving holiday weekend in the city. Oliver was sitting inside a vehicle with two other individuals—a 20-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman—when the group was ambushed.
