On the evening of Sunday, November 30, 2025, 18-year-old Oliver Sims was killed in a shooting in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 5:05 p.m. in the 4100 block of South Wabash Avenue, amidst a violent Thanksgiving holiday weekend in the city.
