On the night of Sunday, December 7, 2025, a violent incident unfolded in the small community of Ivanhoe, California, claiming the life of a young man. Sergio Salcedo, a 25-year-old male, was identified as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in the late evening hours. The gunfire broke out around 10:50 p.m. near the intersection of Beechwood Avenue and Road 160, a residential area within Tulare County.
Upon receiving reports of shots fired, deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the scene. When law enforcement and emergency responders arrived, they discovered three men suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, Salcedo succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other victims, whose identities were not released, were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries, which were described as non-life-threatening.
