In the early morning hours of December 7, 2025, a violent incident unfolded at a fueling station in Gresham, Oregon, disrupting the quiet of the night. Shortly after 1:00 a.m., calls flooded into the Gresham Police Department reporting the sound of gunfire and a person lying on the ground near the intersection of West Powell Boulevard and Northwest Miller Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered an unresponsive individual in the parking lot of the gas station.
Despite the immediate response, the victim had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the location.
The deceased was identified as 48-year-old male Laquincy Fletcher, a resident of Gresham.
