On December 16, 2014, 19-year-old Tracy Avery was fatally shot in Buffalo, New York. The incident occurred near the intersection of Genesee Street and Rogers Avenue. Reports indicate that Avery may have been struck by a vehicle in addition to being shot. Despite being rushed to the Erie County Medical Center (ECMC), Avery succumbed to his injuries.
