On the morning of December 11, 2025, authorities in Dallas, Texas, initiated a homicide investigation following a shooting incident in the Buckner Terrace area of South Dallas. Police officers were dispatched at approximately 5:30 a.m. to the 4700 block of Berridge Lane, located near Forney Road and in the vicinity of Skyline High School. Upon arrival at the scene, first responders discovered a 36-year-old male, identified as Daniel Tovar, suffering from a gunshot wound.
