On the afternoon of Sunday, December 14, 2025, a violent altercation unfolded in the small community of Durant, Mississippi, claiming the life of 35-year-old Jessica Parks. Residents near West Hayes Street were disturbed by the sound of gunfire around 3:45 p.m., prompting an immediate response from local law enforcement.
