In the early morning hours of December 15, 2025, a tragic sequence of events unfolded at a residence on York Drive in Clovis, New Mexico. Law enforcement officers were dispatched to the home of 59-year-old male Oscar "Steve" Munoz and his wife after receiving a 911 call reporting a burglary in progress.
