On the evening of December 23, 2025, a 17-year-old Hispanic male named Francisco Serrano was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in Yakima, Washington. The teenager was walking to his grandparents' house near the intersection of North 20th Avenue and Englewood Drive around 9:00 p.m. when the incident occurred. While making his way through the residential neighborhood, he was targeted by gunfire originating from a passing vehicle.
