On Christmas morning, December 25, 2025, the quiet celebrations in Ocala, Florida, were shattered by the sound of gunfire in the early hours. Around 4:11 a.m., officers from the Ocala Police Department were dispatched to the 800 block of West Silver Springs Place following reports of a shooting.
