In Fort Mill, South Carolina, on the night of November 23, 2025, a verbal altercation at the Lakeview Apartments escalated into a fatal encounter. Damien Crandell, a 28-year-old man, was shot three times following a dispute with a friend. Emergency medical services were called to the scene on Flint Hill Road around 9:15 p.m., but Crandell was pronounced dead at the scene.
