On the evening of November 18, 2025, in the 10400 block of St. Clair Avenue on Cleveland’s east side, the quiet of a late-autumn night was broken by the sound of gunfire, and 43-year-old man Reshawn Ervin’s life was cut short. Around 6:22 p.m., a ShotSpotter alert drew Cleveland police officers to the area; when they arrived, they found Ervin unresponsive, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
