William Parker South, a 17-year-old senior known to his friends and family as Parker, passed away on Tuesday, November 12th. Parker was an avid sports enthusiast from a
young age; his first word as a toddler was "ball." His love for sports was a constant throughout his life, and he was a devoted fan and participant, rarely missing a game. He was not only a talented athlete but also a cherished friend, son, and brother, known for his kindness, respectfulness, and selfless nature. His coach remembered him as infinitely coachable and a great, supportive teammate who knew when to be silly and when to work hard. Parker was a familiar and friendly face in his neighborhood, driving the carpool to school each morning.
