In the early evening of October 26, 2025, the life of 26-year-old Yik Thomas Khan, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Kent, Washington. The incident unfolded around 6:13 p.m. when multiple calls to 911 reported the sound of gunfire at an apartment complex on the 6000 block of South 233rd Place.
