Pedro Lara, 21, male, was killed in the early-morning hours of October 5, 2025, after a van slammed into the fence outside his family’s home on the 3800 block of Bernal Drive in West Dallas. Lara and his father, 47-year-old Pedro Lara Roa, stepped outside to check on the crash and were shot; a third man was found fatally shot inside the crashed van. Police arrived just before 6 a.m. and discovered all three victims dead at the scene.
