On the afternoon of October 13, 2025, a dispute that began on the road in Port Huron, Michigan, escalated into a fatal encounter at a Marathon gas station on Military Street, claiming the life of 30-year-old Reginald Franklin. Multiple 911 calls reported gunfire at approximately 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival, police officers discovered Franklin on the ground with gunshot wounds.
