Juan Vasquez, 49, male, was fatally shot in Hollister, California, on the evening of October 18, 2025. Police were called around 7:22 p.m. to the 1100 block of Sunnyslope Road after reports of gunfire involving two vehicles. Investigators later learned that a wounded man linked to the incident had arrived at a local hospital; he was initially treated at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital and then flown to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, where he died of his injuries.
