Sidiki Fofana, a 29-year-old man, was shot late on the night of October 22, 2025, at the GRTC transfer station in downtown Richmond, just steps from the John Marshall Courthouse. Officers were called to the 500 block of North 8th Street shortly after 11 p.m. and found Fofana suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
