Just after sunrise on June 14, 2025, Fnu Bahishta, 37, a woman, was inside an apartment on San Antonio's Northwest Side when a single gunshot pierced the quiet. Police and medics rushed to the complex off Huebner Road near USAA Boulevard and found Fnu Bahishta, a woman, gravely wounded; she was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The Bexar County Medical Examiner identified her that weekend and ruled the death a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to the torso.
