Brian Kinney, 17, a Black/African American male from Round Rock, Texas, died on July 12, 2025, after gunfire erupted at the Bellwood Apartments on South A.W. Grimes Boulevard. Police were called just after 1 p.m. and found four people shot; two were taken to local hospitals, while 17-year-old Brian Kinney and 18-year-old Samuel Mason were pronounced dead at the scene.
