DeMya Gordon, a 20-year-old woman from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically passed away on June 22, 2021. She was found shot in the neck at a rooming house in South Memphis. Her 2-year-old daughter was also present in the room but was uninjured. The incident occurred around 7:25 a.m. that morning, and DeMya was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
