On the night of July 13, 2025, in the parking lot of the H-E-B on the 4100 block of South New Braunfels Avenue in San Antonio, 41-year-old Beatrize Murrillo-Molina, a female, was shot and killed alongside 31-year-old Jeronimo Aleman Ramirez. Officers arrived around 10:53 p.m. and found both victims dead at the scene. Initial reports noted that the shooter fled in a white SUV as panic rippled through the late-night shoppers and employees preparing to close the store.
