On March 6, 2017, 15-year-old Hispanic female Jennifer Delgado was found shot to death in her San Antonio, Texas apartment. She was nine months pregnant at the time. Her 1-year-old son was found unharmed at the scene. The suspect, 35-year-old Armando Rodrigo Garcia-Ramires, who was previously her stepfather and the father of both her children, was found nearby with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was arrested and charged with two counts of capital murder.
