On April 5, 2015, 23-year-old Courtney Phillips was found dead in a house on Edge Avenue in San Antonio, Texas. She had been stabbed multiple times, and her body was discovered lying face down on the floor near the front door. The discovery was made after a concerned friend, who had dropped her off at the house earlier that day, could not reach her and decided to check in.
