Jessica Mendez, 38, a Hispanic/Latina woman from Weslaco, Texas, was found dead in her home in the early morning hours of July 17, 2025. Shortly after 2:30 a.m., a man arrived at the Alamo Police Department and told officers he had killed a woman in Weslaco.
