In the quiet township of New Hope, near Amherst Junction, Wisconsin, the life of 52-year-old Paula L. Shulfer, a White female, came to a tragic and violent end on the evening of July 6, 2025. What began as a request for a welfare check at the family's residence on Krogwold Road would soon unfold into a grim scene of a double homicide.
