Kevin Edwards, 45, was shot late on the night of May 30, 2025, at the Jefferson Apartments on Jefferson Avenue in Anderson, South Carolina, and taken to AnMed, where he died of his wounds; he was a Black/African American man. First responders from the Anderson Police Department, Medshore Ambulance Service, and the City of Anderson Fire Department treated Kevin Edwards, 45, at the scene before he was transported, and he was pronounced dead at 11:36 p.m., according to local reports.
