Sarah Bonner, a 24-year-old from Lawrenceville, Georgia, tragically died on December 26, 2016, after being shot at the Skip J Gun Range in Anderson, South Carolina. Bonner was visiting friends and family for the holidays when the incident occurred. She was at the gun range with her friend Mattie Smith when a bullet struck her in the head. Despite being rushed to the hospital and placed on life support, Bonner succumbed to her injuries three days later.
