At daybreak on June 4, 2025, 40-year-old Brandon Xavier Gadsden, a male, was found shot in the parking area by Millers Fork Trail off West Corporate Center Drive and Highway 72 East in Clinton, South Carolina. Deputies and first responders arrived around 6:30 a.m., but the 40-year-old Brandon Xavier Gadsden was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities identified the 40-year-old Brandon Xavier Gadsden through the Laurens County Coroner's Office, noting he was from Newberry.
