In the early morning hours of November 4, 2019, a violent dispute erupted inside a residence in Clinton, South Carolina, resulting in the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Miguel Gutierrez-Mendoza. Authorities were alerted to the situation around 2:00 a.m. and dispatched deputies from the Laurens County Sheriff's Office to the home located on Highway 72 East.
